Heather Thompson Net Worth
Heather Thomson, a fashion designer who was recently announced as a
member of the cast of the latest season of The Real Housewives of New
York City, has a fashionable net worth of $10 million. In addition to
her net worth and her new involvement in the Bravo reality TV series,
she is the primary creative talent behind the fashion line Yummie
Tummie, the mission statement of which is summed up in its slogan:
“live. shape. happy.” The new line of shapewear proposes to make you
“forget everything you know about shapewear.” Shapewear, for those not
in the know about such things, is a type of garment that seeks to slim
the figure of the wearer through control and smoothing. An antiquated
example of this idea can be found in the Victorian era corsets, which
operated by forcefully tightening around the waist to achieve a
temporary but incredibly painful and uncomfortable slimming effect.
Yummie seeks to capitalize on the trend recently popularized by brands
such as Spanx, and if Heather Thomson has anything to say about it,
Yummie will eventually surpass Spanx in terms of popularity and
widespread brand saturation.
